Yes, continue taking your pills daily. Being late with 1 pill isn’t going to significantly decrease your effectiveness. I would not recommend Plan B at this time.

Comments Off on I’ve been on Depo Provera for about 9 months now. Last night I had sex, but the condom broke. Do I have a high risk of being pregnant?
If you have been regularly receiving your Depo injections on time, the risk of pregnancy is about .1%. You are protected from pregnancy even if your partner does not use a condom. Keep in mind that birth control methods like the Depo injection, birth control pills, patch or ring do not prevent sexually transmitted infections.

Comments Off on I have been on the pill for 5 months now, and two weeks ago my partner and I had unprotected sex. Three days later I my prescription finished and so I missed one pill. How high is my chance of pregnancy?
I’m not sure I understand your question. If you have been taking your birth control pills correctly and consistently, then you were protected from pregnancy. If the unprotected sex occurred during the last 7 days of your pill pack, then your protection was still effective. If you were unable to start a new pill pack on time, make sure that you make up the pills (if able). If you didn’t make up the pills, use abstinence or condoms as a back up method for the next 2 weeks.

Comments Off on I am on birth control, but I often forget to take it. Sometimes I miss it for two or three days and realize I haven’t taken it. My boyfriend and I had unprotected sex two weeks ago, and he ejaculated inside me. We also had unprotected sex again about a week ago, and he ejaculated inside me again. How long after can you tell if you’re pregnant? Is there a high possibility that I could be pregnant?
Anytime you have unprotected intercourse, there is the risk of pregnancy, If you are missing pills, you cannot rely on it to prevent pregnancy. Wait until your next period is 1 week late. If it hasn’t started, by then, do a pregnancy.

Comments Off on I had unprotected sex on days 9 & 10 of my cycle. I am on a birth control pill and haven’t missed any days, but do not alwayse take it at the same time every day. Should i get plan B?
If you are taking your pill within an hour or two of the same time every day, you do not need Plan B. Taking your pill around the same time each day helps maintain a therapeutic level of hormones in your body. Even if you are unable to take them at the exact same time every day, it is still important to take your pill each day. Make up any missed pills, and be sure to abstain or use a condom for the remainder of the pill pack if you miss more than 2 pills in a row.

Comments Off on I’ve been on birth control for 5 months. I started my pack again for the 6th month now. My boyfriend and I had unprotected sex after the 2 birth control pi.
As long as you are taking your birth control pills correctly and consistently, the risk of pregnancy is very low. You are protected by the pill even if your partner does not use a condom.

Comments Off on Hi,I had sex with my boyfriend Friday night the day I ended my period. I’m on birth control and I never miss a day. He used a condom and we checked to see if it broke and it didn’t. it’s been about a week and ive had an awful migrane and been extremely dizzy and nauseas. Am I coming down with something or is there anyway I’m pregnant. I know symptoms shouldnt show up this early. but an answer would defiantly make me feel better. I mean I am now ovulating,Maybe it’s ovulation pain?
If you have been taking your birth control pills correctly & consistently, it is unlikely that you are pregnant. Your birth control is effective throughout your period week.
You may be coming down with a virus or cold. Try to get more rest and increase your fluids. Continue taking your pills daily.

Comments Off on when is it likely to get pregant when you only had your period for 3-5 days??
Anytime you have unprotected intercourse, there is the risk of pregnancy. The risk of pregnancy does not depend on the length of time your period bleeding lasts.
There are certain times during the menstrual cycle when a woman is more fertile or less fertile. This is part of the basis for the natural family planning, or rhythm, method. This method requires diligent record keeping of when your period begins. It also requires keeping track of anything than may alter your period. Things like illness, medication, stress, change in diet, exercise or sleep pattern can all cause changes in your cycle.
A menstrual cycle is calculated from the beginning (day 1 of bleeding) of one period until the beginning (day 1) of the next period. It may take several months of recording before you have a good idea of how long your cycle is. Most women have about a 28 day cycle. This means that there are about 28 days from the beginning of one period until the beginning of the next period. A normal cycle can range from 28 to 32 days.
When determining…

Comments Off on I have been on Levora for about two weeks. My boyfriend came inside me last night and it says that the first seven days are the most important. The second week, I wasn’t as consistent in taking the pill. Should I get plan B?
If you were not consistent with your pills during the second week of your pill pack, Plan B would be a good option. All though the first 7 days of the pill pack are considered the “most” important, it is very important to take all of your pills correctly and consistently. Frequently missing or being late with pills will decrease the effectiveness of your birth control, and may result in pregnancy.
If you do take Plan B, continue to take your Levora daily. You may have some irregular bleeding or spotting throughout this pill cycle. Your next period may be earlier or later than usual. It may be lighter, heavier or spottier than normal. If your next period is more than 1 week late, do a pregnancy test.
