Your buddy’s girlfriend is at fairly low risk for pregnancy since:

1) he used withdrawal. As long as he withdrew his penis prior to ejaculating, there is less likelihood that sperm may have entered her vagina. It is possible that some sperm may have entered the vagina from pre-seminal fluid (fluid that leaks out of the penis prior to ejaculation). When pre-seminal fluid travels through the urethra, it may pick up sperm that has been left in the urethra from a previous ejaculation. However, studies are inclusive as to whether or not these sperm might be capable of movement and fertilization. We have to rule on the side of caution and assume that they are. There is less likelihood of pre-seminal fluid containing sperm if the male urinates prior to sex. The urine may wash out the leftover sperm.

2) The girl was using the birth control pill. Granted, her pregnancy risk increased since she forgot two of her pills, but hopefully she made up her pills correctly. If she frequently misses pills, she may want to think about a method change to a type…

Risk of pregnancy can can depend on where you’re at within your menstrual cycle. This time in your cycle (3 days before your period), should be when you are least fertile, so the risk of pregnancy would be lower (but not impossible!).

I have recently stopped taking my birth control and I had sex but pulled out but the next day I got my period after already having it this month, what does that mean?

If you continued your birth control pills and had protected intercourse, it is unlikely that you would be pregnant. Things like stress, illness, medications, change in sleep can all affect your cycle. It would not be unusual for you to have some irregular spotting. Continue your pills and your period should return to normal within the next month or two.

I have been on birth control for 6 days but stopped taking it the 7th day because i had chest pains and the doctor told me to stop taking it. I had sex on the night of the 6th day of being on birth control and the condom broke? Is there a chance that i could get pregnant ?

Whenever you miss your pill by 24 hours or more, the risk of pregnancy increases. The more pills you miss, the higher the risk. Hopefully you made your pills up correctly by taking two a day until you were caught up and then resuming the one pill daily schedule.

Mid-cycle bleeding or spotting is very common when women miss pills so the fact that you got your period a week early is not surprising. I am assuming that you meant you started your period when you stated that “I started today, meaning I started a week early.”

Keep taking your pill as directed and try not to miss any more pills. You may not have any bleeding during your sugar or placebo pills, or you may stop bleeding for a few days and then your period may resume.

Take your next pack as directed. If you don’t have any bleeding during the sugar pills of your next pack, take a pregnancy test. Repeat the test every two weeks until you have a normal period or a positive test result. Do not stop…
