If you are sure that you already had ovulated before the unprotected sex, there is a greater likelihood of pregnancy and a decreased chance that the Plan B will prevent pregnancy. If the discharge is clear and stretchy (like egg whites), you probably just ovulated.
If you miss your next period by a week or more, take a pregnancy test. If negative, repeat the test every two weeks until you have a normal period or a positive test result.
Just in case you are pregnant, eat healthfully, start taking an over-the-counter prenatal vitamin, and avoid alcohol, street drugs, and tobacco. If you do test positive for pregnancy, be sure to get early prenatal care.

Comments Off on okay so my boyfriend came in me yesterday. i am not on birth control and i do not have a Plan B pill…my period is next week, am i going to get pregnant?
Yes, pregnancy is possible and it is likely that the unprotected intercourse occurred around the time of ovulation. However, you won’t know if you’re pregnant until you take a pregnancy test. If you miss your next period by more than a week, take a pregnancy test. If it is negative, repeat the test every two weeks until you have a normal period or a positive test result.
In the meantime, if you do not wish to be pregnant, either abstain from sexual intercourse or use condoms. If you are interested in starting a hormonal method of birth control, call us or another medical care provider for an appointment.

Comments Off on i am on the pill and have been for over a year and my boyfriend and i had sex on saturday and he ejaculated inside me this was around 4 on saturday then monday around 11 we got the plan b and now a week later i am late for my period when i am supposed to get it on sunday but usally do monday or tuesday morning but now it is wednesday night and i still havent gotten it, is this from the plan b or something else?
Plan B use was not necessary if you have been taking your pills as directed (around the same time every day). Women on the pill should only take Plan B to reduce the risk of pregnancy if they have missed two or more consecutive pills. Your missed period is most likely a side effect of the Plan B use. However, if you also miss your next period, take a pregnancy test just to be sure. Pregnancy is highly unlikely though.

Comments Off on Should i be concerned if me and my boyfriend were having sex and the condom broke but was not inside me?
If there is no chance that sperm or pre-ejaculatory fluid (fluid that leaks out of the penis prior to ejaculation) entered the vagina, pregnancy is not possible. If, however, the condom broke near the vagina and semen/ejaculatory fluid spilled on the vaginal area, pregnancy is possible, and you may want to consider using Plan B.

Comments Off on i had unprotected sex whilst not on any pill. i also did not take a morning after pill. my period was 4 days late and even then i think it was induced by the parsley tea i’ve been drinking. i guess i feel sluggish and before my period was due i felt some very, very slight cramps. i have been bleeding but very lightly, it started brownish and has become watery reddish spots with little to no flow and there is some clumping and lots of discharge. i don’t feel anything else though, except for mild insomnia and a slight headache last night. no increased smell, no nausea, no constipation. oilier skin though. could i be pregnant?
Yes, pregnancy is possible. Take a pregnancy test right away. If it is negative, repeat the test every two weeks until you have a normal period or a positive test result. In the meantime, if you do not wish to be pregnant, do not have any more unprotected sex. Either abstain from sexual intercourse or use condoms.
If you are planning a pregnancy, eat more healthfully, take an over-the-counter pre-natal vitamin, and avoid alcohol, street drugs, and tobacco.

Comments Off on I am really not consistent at all with taking my loestrin. But if I miss taking one I’ll take it the next day making that two pills in one night. Then the next day I might forget and do what I did before. If you know what I mean? I’m just not consistent with taking my pills but I will take them and be up to date. I also don’t take them at the same time of the day either…. So last night I had my guy over and we did it like five different times and he busted in me every time. What was I thinking I know. So my question is should I take Plan B? Or since I have been on BC for 2 years and I’m currently on the right day, should I just do nothing and continue with my BC pills? I hope this makes sense! Thanks!
If you missed any of your pills by 24 hours or more within the previous seven days of the unprotected sex, then Plan B use would be a good idea. Of course, if you miss your next period by a week or more, take a pregnancy test.
You really ought to think about changing your method of birth control if you have trouble remembering to take your pills so often. Sooner or later, your method will fail. Forgetting to take pills is the most common reason for unintended pregnancies occurring to women on the pill. If you have a cell phone, try setting your alarm for the same time every day to help you remember the pill. You can also go to www.bedsider.org for daily text reminders. If you still find you’re forgetting your pills, contact the medical provider who prescribed your pill and ask him/her about other methods that do not require a daily action.

Comments Off on what are the chances of being pregnant if I had my period last month but have not been sexual active before that, but I am now late with this months period. So what are the chances that I may have just skipped this month because my life has become kind of hectic lately.?
If you have not had any unprotected sex since your last normal period, your risk of pregnancy is extremely low. An increase in stress and change in routine can cause menstrual irregularities. If you are more than one week late for your period, take a pregnancy test just to be sure.
However, if you are having occasional unprotected sex, pregnancy is possible. The more often you have unprotected sex, the greater your risk. If you don’t want to be pregnant, please use a method of birth control to reduce your risk. If you live near one of our offices, please call us for an appointment. We can talk with you about all of your contraceptive options and help you choose one that best fits your lifestyle. If you live further away, contact the Family Planning or Planned Parenthood office closest to you.

Comments Off on I have been on birth control for multiple years. I recently messed up my pills to delay my period. My boyfriend and I had unprotected sex, he did not ejaculate inside of me. During this time I was also on an antibiotic, but I finished my pack of pills and did get my period like 3 days after we had unprotected sex. Is it likely I could be pregnant?
Pregnancy is extremely unlikely if your period was normal.

Comments Off on I and my gf were dry humping, and then i take out my penis and rubbed it on her clitoris, i had precum… are there any chances of my gf gettin pregnant…..??? as a precautionory measure she also took plan b… P.S she is a virgin
There is a slight risk of pregnancy if the pre-ejaculatory fluid contained sperm. Plan B use was a good idea.
Of course, if she misses her next period, she should take a pregnancy test, but risk of pregnancy is extremely low.

Comments Off on I had sex 1-2 days after ovulation. I took the plan b pill 9 hours later. Is there a greater chance I may be pregnant because I had just ovulated? I have a clear/white discharge. What does that mean?
