You do not need to worry about the vaseline on your vulva affecting the condom.

Comments Off on For the past two months my period has been way early.. Now I am have watery milky discharge to where my panties get wet.. could I be pregnant?
Your menstrual cycle can vary, depending on several factors. Things like stress, medications, illness, hormone fluctuations, and changes in diet, exercise or sleep can all affect the timing of your period. Your period may be a little earlier or later than usual. It may be lighter or heavier than normal.
Vaginal discharge is common, normal and varies within your cycle. Vaginal discharge serves to maintain the vaginal pH and helps to sweep unwanted bacteria out of the vagina. Vaginal discharge may appear yellow on your pad or panties. When you are nearing ovulation time, discharge is usually thin, watery and increased in amount. When you are nearing your period (the time of less fertility), discharge is a thicker, creamier white. Due to higher estrogen levels, young women tend to have more discharge. During peri-menopause and after menopause, women tend to have less discharge due to the decrease in estrogen that normally occurs as we age.
Vaginal infections can cause changes in discharge. Bacterial vaginosis can cause a thin, milky, white discharge that has a “fishy” odor. The odor is sometimes more…

Comments Off on okay so me and my boyfriend had sex and im on the injection but we had sex on the 13th day of the injection and we are suppose to wait for 2 week so i took an morning after pill cause he came in me and there was only discharge coming out and then we sex again but after sex there was like discharge and blood coming out… is it normal? whats going on? cause he came in me for the second time
When you get your first Depo injection within five days of the beginning of your period as it is meant to be given, Depo is immediately effective. There is no need to wait two weeks for the shot to become effective. In your case, Plan B use was not needed. Depo remains effective as long as you are getting your shots every 10-13 weeks.
During the first year of Depo use, women can expect menstrual irregularities. This may include periodic spotting or bleeding, no bleeding at all, heavy and frequent bleeding, and irregular periods.
The discharge and blood you experienced after sexual intercourse is perfectly normal. The discharge was most likely his semen spilling out of you, and the bleeding was due to the Depo shot.
Most vaginal discharge is perfectly normal, even if you are not sexually active. However, if you notice discharge that is accompanied by a foul odor or discharge that is a strange color or texture, you may have a vaginal infection and should be evaluated by a medical professional.

Comments Off on me and my boyfriend have sex and he came in me on valentines day but i got my period for february when should i take a test
If your period occurred after the unprotected sex and if it was a normal period, there is no need to take a pregnancy test. For peace of mind, you can wait 4-5 weeks after the intercourse and then take a pregnancy test.
If your period occurred before the unprotected sex, wait until you are one week or more late for your period to take a pregnancy test. If it is negative, repeat the test every two weeks until you have a normal period or a positive test result.
If you do not wish to be pregnant, please either abstain from sexual intercourse or use a method of birth control. When used correctly and consistently, condoms are approximately 98% effective and they can be purchased almost anywhere. We also have free condoms available at all of our offices. You do not need an appointment to pick up condoms.
If you think you may be interested in starting another method of birth control, and you live near one of our offices, please call us for an appointment. We can talk with you about all…

Comments Off on ive been on the combination birth control pill for a month. During the first month i took antibiotics for 3 days and then my period came .now im on the second pack on the second week. my boyfriend came inside me during the second week of the 2nd pack of pills. Now i think im going to have to take antibiotics again.. (this is 4 days later after his ejaculation) can i get pregnant if i take the antibiotics now?
Yes, you can take the antibiotics now; it should not affect your risk of pregnancy from an act that occurred four days ago. We would encourage you, however, to either abstain from sex or use condoms as a back-up method while you are taking the antibiotics and for one week after you have completed your treatment just as a precaution.

Comments Off on my boyfriend and i had unprotected sex yesterday and he came inside of me. a couple of hours later i went to the bathroom and there was a weird pinkish discharge from my vagina, does this mean that i could be pregnant?
Anytime you have unprotected intercourse, there is the chance of pregnancy.
Some women may occasionally have some pinkish or red discharge after intercourse. This does not necessarily mean that pregnancy has occurred.
If spotting or bleeding occurs frequently after intercourse, it can be a signal of a problem, like a vaginal infection. If this occurs, make an appointment with your doctor or clinic for a vaginal infection check and/or pap test. You may want to discuss beginning a long term birth control method like the birth control pills or the DepoProvera injection.
Family Planning Plus clinics offer gynecological exams and birth control for little to no cost, depending on your household size and income. You are welcome to schedule an appointment at any of our 4 clinic locations.

Comments Off on i had unprotected sex an three days after i took the plan b but three hours later he ejaculates inside me could i be pregnant
Anytime you have unprotected intercourse, there is the risk of pregnancy. The more frequently you have unprotected sex, the more likely it is that you will become pregnant.
Plan B helps prevent pregnancy by delaying ovulation. It is about 75 to 80% effective at preventing pregnancy when taken within 24 hours after unprotected sex. The longer you wait to take it, the less effective it becomes.
Plan B is only effective for one act of intercourse. It is not effective for multiple acts of intercourse performed on multiple days. It does not provide any long term birth control.
In the meantime, if you are not planning a pregnancy, do not have unprotected intercourse. Use condoms or abstain from sex until your next period comes. If your next period is more than 1 week late, do a pregnancy test.
If your test is negative, consider starting a long term method of birth control like birth control pills, patch, vaginal ring or the DepoProvera injection. Family Planning Plus clinics offer birth control for little to no cost, depending on household size and income.

Comments Off on is it possible to be pregnant if you had sex and he ejaculated in you but when it happened you were a few weeks late on your shot but like three weeks after having sex you get your shot ?
The DepoProvera intramuscular injection (the one that is injected into the muscle of either the arm or buttock) is effective for up to 13 weeks. The DepoSubqProvera injection is the injection that is given into the subcutaneous fat of the abdomen. The Subq injection is effective for up to 14 weeks. If you miss your shot, there is that possibility that ovulation could occur and pregnancy could result. Although many women do not ovulate right away, it is best to assume that you are no longer protected. Either use condoms or abstain from intercourse until you receive your next injection.
If you are concerned about pregnancy, do a pregnancy test.

Since then, I’m having alot of white discharge, pain in my lower abdomen which is the same pain when I have my Chums, my breast hurts & I’ve also crossed my cycle date. I was supposed to have my Periods last week & today is the 28th Feb. Am I Pregnant??? Amy
Hi, Amy!
Anytime you have unprotected intercourse, there is the risk of pregnancy.
If you are having white discharge that has a bad, or “fishy” odor, you may have a vaginal infection. Vaginal infections like yeast and bacterial vaginosis can cause unusual discharge and pelvic discomfort. Call your doctor or clinic to schedule an infection check.
If your period is more than 1 week late, do a pregnancy test.

Comments Off on If you have sex after your period just came off could u get pregant
Generally speaking, the days prior to, the days of your period, and the few days after your period are the least fertile times. However, this can vary, depending on the length and regularity of your menstrual cycle.
If your cycle is 28 days, meaning that you have a period about every 28 days, then your ovulation time (also the time when you are most fertile) would be about days 12-15. If you have a shorter cycle, then you would ovulate sooner. For example, if you have a period about every 21 days, then you would ovulate around days 7 to 10. Keeping track of your period on the calendar can help you figure this out.
Just keep in mind that many things can affect your cycles, making your period come earlier or later. Things like stress, illness, medications, or change in diet, exercise or sleep can affect you menstrual cycle.

Comments Off on I know that petroleum jelly breaks down condoms, so I never use it as lubricant, but I sometimes use it if my vulva is itchy and it works very well for that. If I use petroleum jelly on my vulva and then have sex later that day, do I still have to worry about the condom failing? Can I get away with just cleaning it up first or do I have to avoid sex for a while after using petroleum jelly? If so, how long?
