It’s difficult to answer your question without knowing what type of birth control you are using.
I am assuming that you are using some type of hormonal birth control (the pill, the patch , the ring, the shot, the implant, or the Mirena IUD) . If the intercourse occurred at least one week after you started your method, you were protected from pregnancy by your method, regardless of whether he pulled out or not. The above methods prevent ovulation for as long as you are using your method correctly. If the intercourse occurred during the first week of your new method, pregnancy is possible. If you miss your next period by a week or more, take a pregnancy test.

Comments Off on if i had like a couple of stds before can i still have kids?
It is true that sexually transmitted infections like chlamydia and gonorrhea can cause infertility. This problem is more likely to occur when a woman has frequent, multiple infections, if she has put off getting treatment, or has not received treatment at all.
If you received treatment for the STDs, you should still be able to become pregnant.

Comments Off on Im on the depo shot I received my first shot on feb 7 last night my boyfriend ejaculated inside of me but I was on my period what are the chances I could become pregnant?
The Depo Provera injection is effective 24 hours after you receive your injection. It is effective for up to 13 weeks. The Depo injection is 99.9% effective, so it is very unlikely that you would become pregnant. Your protection is effective even if you are having spotting or bleeding.
In order to maintain the effectiveness of the DepoProvera, it is important to receive your injections on time. If you forget when your shot is due, call your doctor or clinic to find out.

Comments Off on Me and my fiance had unprotected sex twice this month. I have one of those period/ovulation apps on my phone well i had put my period in for Jan 23 and it said that my ovulation should of been Feb 6. Well we had unprotected sex and he finished in me on the 8 and the 12. I got my period on the 23 of Feb and I put that in the tracker and it changed when my ovulation was now it is the 9th. I know that at anytime if you have unprocted sex you can get pregant but is there a chance that I really could be even though I got my period?
If you had your period, it is unlikely that you are pregnant. Keep in mind that menstrual cycles can vary from month to month. Because each month can have a different number of days in it (29, 30, 31 days), the date of your next period may not be the same for every month. Additionally, other things, like stress, illness, and change in sleep pattern can affect your cycle, making your period come earlier or later than usual.
If you and your partner are not planning a pregnancy at this time, consider consistently using condoms or starting a long term method of birth control, like the birth control pills, patch vaginal ring or the Depo Provera injection.

Comments Off on the condom broke on feb 17th and i did not take plan b afterward… and on the 24th my boyfriend and i had unprotected sex and i took plan b afterwards and i took a pregnancy test today is there a chance im pregant from the condom breaking the 17th?
Yes, anytime you have unprotected intercourse, there is the risk of pregnancy.
One of the ways Plan B helps prevent pregnancy is by delaying ovulation. If your initial pregnancy test was negative, wait a week or two. If you do not have a period within 2-3 weeks after taking the Plan B, repeat the pregnancy test.

Comments Off on I have been on birth control pills for almost a year now, I take them on time every day, and my periods are very predictable. However, my period started on time a couple days ago and only lasted a few hours. This has never happened before. Am I pregnant?
As long as you have been taking your pills correctly and consistently, it is unlikely that you would become pregnant. One of the benefits of using birth control pills is that they shorten and lighten your periods. You may notice that one month your bleeding is light, the next month, it may be heavier. Any bleeding that occurs during your placebo pill week is considered a period.

Comments Off on I had unprotected sex last week my boyfriend cummed inside me im not on the pill but i got my period the next week & i got cramps
If your period was normal, pregnancy is unlikely. However, if you do not wish to be pregnant, please don’t continue to have unprotected sex. Either abstain from sex or use a reliable method of birth control.
If you do plan to continue to have sex, please use condoms until you are able to see a medical provider to discuss your birth control options. Condoms work best when they are used correctly and consistently. Here are some tips for correct condom use.
Always check the expiration date to be sure it is not expired prior to use.
Condoms should be stored at room temperature in a sharps free environment.
Never use an oil-based lubricant with a latex condom. If you need additional lubricant, use a water-based type like KY Jelly or Astroglide.
Pinch the tip of the condom between the thumb and forefinger while rolling it onto the erect penis to ensure that there is no air pocket in the tip of the condom.
Smooth out the sides of the condom once it has been rolled on to ensure there are no air pockets in the sides of the condom.

Comments Off on I had sex with my gf during her period she got her period on a Thursday and we had sex 2 days later and then she ends up having it two weeks earlier and she says it wasn’t really red blood wen she got it it looked odd is she pregnant
The only way for your girlfriend to know for sure if she is pregnant is for her to take a pregnancy test. If the test is negative, she should repeat the test every two weeks until she has a normal period or a positive test result. For best results, use first morning urine and follow the directions prescisely.

Comments Off on My boyfriend came in me twice but I have irregular periods could it still be a chance of me being pregnant?
Anytime you have unprotected sex, pregnancy is possible regardless of whether your periods are regular or not. If it has been less than 120 hours since the unprotected sex and you do not wish to be pregnant, you can use Plan B (the morning after pill) to reduce your risk.
Plan B is a hormone pill that reduces the risk of pregnancy by delaying ovulation. Plan B works best if it is used within the first 24 hours after unprotected sex but can be used up to 72 hours (or three days) after the unprotected sex. Some research has shown that it may even have some preventive effects up to 120 hours (five days) after unprotected sex. The sooner you use Plan B, the more effective it is.
If you are 17 or older, you can purchase Plan B at most drug stores without a prescription. You will need to ask the pharmacist for Plan B as it is located behind the counter. You may also need to show ID to prove your age. Plan B is around $50. If you are…

Comments Off on I had recently started taking birth control, and had unprotected sex the first day of my ovulation cycle. The guy did not ejaculate inside of me, but rather, he withdrew. He did, however, put his penis back inside of me after he ejaculated, without washing it or anything. How likely is it that pregnancy could occur. I feel it is necessary to mention that I have 2 children who were conceived while using the “pull-out method,” but I was not on any kind of birth control at that time.
