If you take your pill within a three hour time period every day and you haven’t missed any pills, you are protected. With perfect pill use, you have a 1% risk of pregnancy regardless of when the intercourse occurred.

Comments Off on My boyfriend and I have always had protected sex, but recently after much insisting from his part, we had unprotected sex. It was no longer than two to three minutes and he did not ejaculate. I was already late before we did this and as it seems so far, I’ve missed it this whole month. Can I be pregnant?
Whenever you have unprotected sex, pregnancy is possible (even if he did not ejaculate inside the vagina and regardless of how long the intercourse lasted). However, since he did not ejaculate, your risk is lower.
Withdrawal or the pull out method is not considered a reliable method of birth control. However, it is more effective when it is done correctly. Of every 100 women whose partners use withdrawal, four will become pregnant each year if the method is done perfectly. Of every 100 women whose partners use withdrawal, 27 will become pregnant if withdrawal is not always performed correctly.
Couples who have great self-control, experience, and trust tend to use the pull out method more effectively. The male partner must be able to know exactly when ejaculation is coming and must be able to pull out before any semen is deposited in the vagina. Generally, younger or less experienced men have a more difficult time predicting the time of ejaculation and have more difficulty pulling out in time.
However, even if a man pulls out in time, pregnancy is still possible because of pre-seminal fluid…

Comments Off on My period came on the 2nd of feb. and i had sex the 11th. My bf came in me and i took the plan b pill. I wanted to know when will my period start?
One of the most common side effects of Plan B use is menstrual irregularity. Therefore, your next period could be heavier than normal, earlier than usual, later than usual, or spotty (meaning you may bleed for a few days, stop, and then bleed some more). If you normally have a 28-day cycle, your period should come around March 1 (today).
If you are more than one week late for your period, take a pregnancy test. If it is negative, repeat the test every two weeks until you either have a normal period or a positive test result. Unfortunately, Plan B is not 100% effective and you can still become pregnant.
Just remember that Plan B should not be used as a regular method of birth control as it is less effective than other methods. If you are going to continue to have sexual intercourse, it is best to use another more reliable form of birth control. If you would like to discuss your birth control options, please call one of our clinics to make an appointment. If you live too far…

Comments Off on I had a abortion 02/03/2012 I had unprotected sex 02/18/2012 a week later a pregnancy test said yes now today 02/29/2012 it says no can I b pregnant still
You need to be examined by a medical provider to ensure that your abortion was complete. Contact the abortion provider and request a post-abortion exam. If the abortion provider is too far away for you to make another trip, contact an OB/GYN or Family Planning/Planned Parenthood provider. They can also conduct an exam for you.
In the meantime, please do not have any more unprotected sex. Either abstain from sex or use condoms until you have your post-abortion exam. If they determine that you can start a hormonal method of birth control at that time, you may want to start using a reliable method to reduce your risk of future unintended pregnancy.

Comments Off on if you are on birth control and on the “period week” for a couple days and your boyfriend cums inside you are you at higher risk of preganacy?
I am assuming you are using a hormonal type of birth control (pill, patch, ring).
As long as you’ve been taking your pills (or using your patches or ring) as directed (taking a pill around the same time every day, one patch per week for three weeks then one week off, ring left in for three week then taken out for one) and as long as it’s been over one week since you started your method, you are protected. You remain protected as long as you are using your method correctly (regardless of whether it’s your period week or not). During the first three weeks of your method use, hormones build up in your body to provide contraceptive protection through the seven days of your period week. Just don’t forget to start a new pack, put on a new patch, or insert a new ring the very next day after you’ve finished the seven days that you are off the hormones.

Comments Off on If I am on the pill, and my boyfriend finished inside of me the day I started my period, is there a higher risk of pregnancy?
As long as you’ve been taking your pills as directed (around the same time every day) and as long as you have taken at least one week’s worth of pills, you are protected. You remain protected as long as you are taking a pill every single day (regardless of whether it is a hormone pill or a placebo pill). During the active pills in your pack (the first three weeks), hormones build up in your body to last you through the seven days of your placebo pills so you are even protected during your period week. Just don’t forget to start a new pack the very next day after you’ve finished your placebo pills.

Comments Off on Is there an annonymous place you can get birth control?
You can receive condoms at all of our offices and from vending machines located at many different establishments without having to give your name and other identifying information. Plan B is also available in vending machines at some colleges. However, you do have to provide your name, demographic information, and medical history to receive other types of birth control from medical providers.

Comments Off on What happens if you have sex twice in less a hour and your man cum in both times ?
Anytime you have unprotected intercourse, there is a risk of pregnancy. If your partner has a sexually transmitted infection, there is also a risk that you will become infected also. Risk of pregnancy and disease increases with multiple acts of intercourse. The more you have sex, the greater your risk.
If you do not want to be pregnant and it has been less than five days since the intercourse, you may want to use Plan B to reduce your risk of pregnancy. Plan B works best if it is used within the first 24 hours after unprotected sex but can be used up to 120 hours (or five days) after the unprotected sex. The sooner you use Plan B, the more effective it is.
If you are 17 or older, you can purchase Plan B at most drug stores without a prescription. You will need to ask the pharmacist for Plan B as it is located behind the counter. You may also need to show ID to prove your age. Plan B is around $50. If you and your girlfriend are under 17, she…

Comments Off on if he came in me once but it was the second time we had sex so it was really little sperm what r the chances of getting pregnant
If he ejaculated inside the vagina, there is still a risk of pregnancy even though it was his second ejaculation. It is true that there may have been fewer sperm in the second ejaculation and thus a decreased risk of pregnancy. However, there are still millions of sperm in as little as a quarter-teaspoon of semen and it only takes one to fertilize an egg.
We would recommend using Plan B to reduce your risk of pregnancy.Plan B use will not prevent a pregnancy if it has been over five days since the unprotected sex. Plan B works best if it is used within the first 24 hours after unprotected sex but can be used up to 72 hours (or three days) after the unprotected sex. However, some research has shown that it may even have some preventive effects up to 120 hours (five days) after unprotected sex. The sooner you use Plan B, the more effective it is.

Comments Off on Me and my girlfriend had protected sex 7 days after she started birth control can she be pregnant?
Unfortunately, no birth control method is 100% effective so pregnancy is always a possibility. However, if she has been using her birth control method correctly, pregnancy is highly unlikely.

Comments Off on My boyfriend and I had sex and the condom broke. I’ve been on the pill for almost a year now. I’ve only been 3 days into my new packet of the pill. I take it every day around the same time. What are my chances of getting pregnant?
