I’ve been on a new birth control for a month, and before starting my second pack, I waited two days. I used no extra birth control methods and my boyfriend ejaculated in me. Since I started my new pack (a few days ago), I missed one pill and usually, I spot when that happens, but I didn’t this time. I’ve also had random nausea and headaches. I don’t know how early is too early to have pregnancy symptoms, but I’m guessing one week is, but I wanted to make sure. Is it possible I may be pregnant? How long should I wait to test, because I still have basically three weeks of birth control before I should miss my period.

Unfortunately, you should wait until your next period. If you are a week or more late for your period, then perform a pregnancy test. In the meantime, do not stop taking your pills and do not miss any more pills. If you have a cell phone, set your alarm to go off at a certain time each day. When the alarm goes off, it will remind you to take your pill. You can also register for free daily text reminders at www.bedsider.org. Since you missed a pill, you may want to use a condom in addition to the pill for the remainder of this pack.

If you forget to take pills frequently, you may want to consider a meethod change. Contact the provider who prescribed your pill and talk with them about other birth control options that do not require daily use.

Yes, it is very possible. That’s why it’s so important to be tested. People infected with HIV who have not yet been tested are usually unaware of their HIV infection and may be unknowingly spreading the virus to others. It is estimated that approximately 20% of all HIV-infected individuals are unaware that they are infected. If you live near one of our offices, please call us for a free STD screening; this visit will provide you with free testing for chlamydia, gonorrhea, syphilis, and HIV. If you live further away, contact the HIV testing facility nearest you. If your partner has not yet been tested, urge him/her to be tested as well.

Whenever you miss pills or take them late, breakthrough bleeding (bleeding or spotting in between periods) can occur. This is probably what you are experiencing. However, missing pills does increase the risk of pregnancy. If you don’t have any bleeding at all during your sugar pills (the last week of your pill pack), take a pregnancy test. Repeat the test two weeks later if it is negative. Do not stop taking your pills unless you test positive for pregnancy.

In the meantime, do not miss any more pills. If you have a cell phone, set the alarm on your phone to go off at a certain every day to remind you to take your pill. You can also register for free daily text reminders at www.bedsider.org. If you are still having problems remembering to take your pill, contact the provider who prescribed the pill for you to discuss other birth control methods that do not require daily use.

I had sex with a guy. We had sex unprotected for about 15 seconds. He used a condom when he ejaculated. I had sex about three days later with another guy and we did not use protection. He ejaculated in me. I am now 2 months pregnant. Who would I be pregnant by?

It is impossible to know for sure who the biological father is since the two incidents occurred so close together. Paternity testing is the only way to know for sure.

Yes, pregnancy is definitely possible since you had unprotected sex during the first week of your regular birth control pills. The pill does not protect you from pregnancy until you take a full week’s worth of pills. However, during the first three months of pill use, menstrual irregularities are common. These irregularities could include a missed period. Keep taking your pills at the same time every day. If you don’t have any bleeding during your sugar pills (the last week of pills in your pack), then take a pregnancy test. Do not stop taking your pills unless you test positive for pregnancy. Good luck!

can i get pregnant if my partner pulls out and while he pulled out the condom comes off and come goes around my vagina?

Comments Off on can i get pregnant if my partner pulls out and while he pulled out the condom comes off and come goes around my vagina?

Yes. If it has been less than five days since this happened, you may want to take Plan B to reduce your risk of pregnancy.

Plan B use will not prevent a pregnancy if it has been over five days since the unprotected sex. The sooner you use Plan B, the more effective it is.

Plan B works by delaying ovulation (the monthly release of an egg), and possibly by interfering with fertilization (when a sperm penetrates an egg) and implantation (when the fertilized egg implants itself into the uterine lining. If you are already pregnant, it will not terminate the pregnancy.

If you are 17 or older, you can purchase Plan B at most drug stores without a prescription. You will need to ask the pharmacist for Plan B as it is located behind the counter. You may also need to show ID to prove your age. Plan B is around $50. If you are under 17, you will need a prescription from a doctor. You can also get Plan B from a Family Plannning or Planned Parenthood clinic. We offer Plan B…

It’s very difficult to give you an answer without more information. Contact your regular reproductive health care provider and describe your problem. They will be able to ask you appropriate questions to better understand the reason for your brief period.

Yes, pregnancy is possible. If you have regular 28 day menstrual cycles, the timing of the sexual intercourse may have conincided with ovulation which would put you at an even higher risk for pregnancy.

i had sex but i didnt use a condom and i didnt take my birth control that day either. i was bleeding the next day but this wasnt my first time having sex. what does this mean?

Whenever you miss a pill, breakthrough bleeding (bleeding in between periods) can occur. Hopefully you made your pill up correctly. When you miss a pill, you should take it as soon as you remember and then take your next pill at the regular time. If you don’t remember your pill until you’re about to take your next pill, then you should take both pills at the same time. Whenever you miss pills or take them late, your risk for pregnancy increases.

Continue to take your pills every day around the same time each day. The bleeding should stop with the continued hormone use. If you don’t have any bleeding at all during your sugar pills (the last week of pills in your pack), take a pregnancy test. If it is negative, repeat the test every two weeks until you have a normal period or a positive test result. Do not stop taking your pills unless you test positive for pregnancy.

I have been on the Depo shot for almost a year now. I get my shot regularly and I am never late for a shot. What are the chances of getting pregnant if I want to let my boyfriend cum inside me?

Comments Off on I have been on the Depo shot for almost a year now. I get my shot regularly and I am never late for a shot. What are the chances of getting pregnant if I want to let my boyfriend cum inside me?

Depo Provera is over 99% effective as long as you are getting your shots on schedule. This means that less than one out of 100 women who are using Depo will become pregnant.
