Anytime you have unprotected intercourse, there is the risk of pregnancy. However, if you are

having a normal period, then you most likely are not pregnant.

No.  While there are hypothetical studies that Trich may live on inanimate objects, the parasite that causes Trich infection most

likely does not. It thrives in warm, moist environments. Sex toys should be cleaned after each use, according to the manufactureer’s instructions.

It is also a good idea to not share sex toys.

A woman’s cycle can vary from month to month. Because of this, periods may come earlier or later than usual.

If her period came two days late, but was a normal period, then it is very unlikely that she would be pregnant.

Additionally, a period coming a day or two earlier or later than usual is normal, and usually not cause for concern.

what can it be when the tip of my penis itches when sitting down, i have no rash, no burning, no disharge or pain when peeing

Many times, sexually transmitted infections do not cause any symptoms, especially in men. If an infection is going to cause symptoms,

the most common symptoms are burning/pain with urination, or an unusual discharge from the penis. Some sexually transmitted viruses,

like HPV (Human Papillomavirus) and HSV (Herpes) can cause itching and irritation in the affected area. HPV can cause genital warts to

appear. Warts may be white or flesh colored, and their surface appears like the head of broccoli or cauliflower. They generally are not smooth.

HSV lesions may begin with itching at the affected area. Soon after, blisters appear. The blisters then burst, usually have a yellowish drainage, and

appear as open sores, or ulcers. The sores may or may not be painful. The sores eventually become crusty and heal. It doesn’t sound like you are having any of those type of symptoms.

One very common cause of itching is a yeast infection. Men usually call it “jock itch”. It can occur anywhere in the groin/genital area, and is

usually characterized by intense itching. Sometimes, the skin will be reddened and appear “shiny”. …

I have been on birth control for about 6 months now. I had unprotected sex on the day I was supposed to start a new pack, that night I forgot to take it and I took it the next day along with my second pill. Is there any chance that I could be pregnant?

Starting a new pill pack on time and taking the first 7 days consistently is extremely important in maintaining

their effectiveness. You were correct in making up the missed pill. However, I recommend using condoms for the

next 2 weeks, just to be safe.

Begin your pills as soon as possible. Starting a new pack of pills on time and taking the first 7 days of the pill pack is

extremely important as far as maintaining their effectiveness. Take your pills every day, around the same time. Keep in mind

that starting your new pack late may cause you to have some irregular spotting during this next month. Additionally, you will want

to either abstain from sex or use condoms for at least 2 weeks.

i am 12 weeks pregnant and cant stop thinking about the possibility im wrong about the father. my last period started feb 9th, i had sex with partner 1 a little more than a week later. he claims to have not came but had admitted to “almost cumming”. about 2-3 weeks later i had a one night stand and the guy pulled out but did in fact cum. i took plan b the next day (but take note it was the 5th or 6th time in my life). about 3 or 4 days after intercourse with the one night stand i took a pregnancy test from being a week late with my period and it was positive. i believe that partner 1 is the father but i would like a second opinion.

Once conception has occurred, the fertilized egg travels down the fallopian tube and embeds itself into the uterus. This takes approximately 7 days. Soon after this, HcG  (pregnancy hormone)

can be detected in the body, in blood and urine. HcG shows up in the blood about 11 to 14 days after conception. HcG levels in urine show up later, about 3-4 weeks

after conception.  Although they claim otherwise, most home pregnancy tests do not become positive until you have missed your first period. This means that, for most people,

you need to be at least 3-4 weeks pregnant in order for a urine test to become positive.

I know this doesn’t really answer your question, because, at this time, there is no way to definitely confirm the identity of the father. If there are any concerns about paternity, you or

your partner(s) may want to consider paternity testing in the future.

My period is a week late so I took a pregnancy test and it said I was negative. My boyfriend and I are really responsible with sex. We always use protection and he always checks to see if the condom broke or wripped (which it never did). I don’t know why I don’t have my period. So I am trying different herbs (Parsley) to Induce my period. So hopefully my period will come. Will it come soon?

Menstrual cycles can vary from month to month. Things like stress, illness, changes in diet, exercise or sleep can all affect your cycle. Periods may come earlier or later than usual. Some women may occasionally skip a period.

It is important to be very careful when using any herbal therapy. Many herbal remedies have not been medically researched for effectiveness and safety. Additionally, there are no standard dosage guidelines for most herbs.

Repeat the pregnancy test in another week or two. If it is still negative, wait until next month to see if your period comes. If you miss another month, and the pregnancy test remains negative, consult your family doctor or ob/gyn for follow-up.

If you were not consistent with taking the pills then Plan B would be appropriate. Begin a new pack of pills as scheduled and take your pill every day around the same time. If your next period is more than 1 week late, do a pregnancy test.

I am on birth control on my 4th month, 2nd week. I had unprotected sex last week and a couple of days ago, and today I spotted a little. Is this a sign of pregnancy, even though I am on the pill?

Comments Off on I am on birth control on my 4th month, 2nd week. I had unprotected sex last week and a couple of days ago, and today I spotted a little. Is this a sign of pregnancy, even though I am on the pill?

If you have been taking your birth control pills correctly & consistently for the past 4 months, it is very unlikely that you will become pregnant. So, even if your partner did not use a condom, you are protected by the pills.

However, being persistently late with or missing pills will decrease their effectiveness. Additionally, if you have multiple partners, birth control pills do not provide any protection from sexually transmitted infections.
