I had unprotected sex on march 2; i took the morning after pill the next day. then i had unprotected sex again on the 4th; i started my birth control pills that day. i also had unprotected sex on the 5th. My period was expected on the tenth, and its the 14th; i havent gotten it, or any signals that it was coming; could i be pregnant already? or is it delayed because of birth control?

Yes, pregnancy is definitely possible since you had unprotected sex during the first week of your regular birth control pills. The pill does not protect you from pregnancy until you take a full week’s worth of pills. However, during the first three months of pill use, menstrual irregularities are common. These irregularities could include a missed period. Keep taking your pills at the same time every day. If you don’t have any bleeding during your sugar pills (the last week of pills in your pack), then take a pregnancy test. Do not stop taking your pills unless you test positive for pregnancy. Good luck!
