I am on birth control pills and take them every morning between nine and ten. My boyfriend and I had protected sex five days ago but the condom broke and e ejaculated in me. I went ahead and took plan be thirteen hours later. I was supposed to get my period yesterday but I have not. Is this normal? What are the chances of being pregnant?

If you are taking your birth control pills correctly & consistently, then you are protected from pregnancy. The chance of pregnancy would be low. While taking Plan B was not harmful to you, unless you had recently missed pills, Plan B was not necessary.

After taking Plan B, some women may experience irregular spotting or bleeding.  Your period may be a little later than usual. It may be lighter, heavier or spottier than usual. Continue to take your regular birth control pills every day. Your period should return to normal within a month or two.

You may also continue to use condoms as your back up method for added protection.
