Anytime you have unprotected intercourse, there is the risk of pregnancy and of being infected with a sexually transmitted infection.

If you are having vaginal itching, schedule an appointment with your doctor of clinic for a vaginal infection check. You may have a common infection, like bacterial vaginosis or yeast, but you could have an STD. Your doctor should check for these, as well as for possible pregnancy.

Diarrhea is not a sign of a vaginal infection or STD. You may have been infected with a stomach virus recently.

Family Planning Plus clinics offer gynecological exams, birth control, pregnancy testing and emergency contraception for little to no cost, depending on your household size and income. STD screenings are free for men and women of all ages. Please feel free to schedule an appointment at any of our clinic locations.
