Anytime you have unprotected intercourse, there is the risk of pregnancy. Plan B is most effective when taken within 24 hours after unprotected intercourse,but there are still some preventive effects when taken later.
After taking Plan B, you should have a period within 2-3 weeks. If your next period is more than 1 week late, do a pregnancy test.
