You need to be examined by a medical provider to ensure that your abortion was complete. Contact the abortion provider and request a post-abortion exam. If the abortion provider is too far away for you to make another trip, contact an OB/GYN or Family Planning/Planned Parenthood provider. They can also conduct an exam for you.
In the meantime, please do not have any more unprotected sex. Either abstain from sex or use condoms until you have your post-abortion exam. If they determine that you can start a hormonal method of birth control at that time, you may want to start using a reliable method to reduce your risk of future unintended pregnancy.
