Whenever you miss pills or take them late, your risk of pregnancy increases, so pregnancy is possible. The more pills you skip, the higher the risk. Hopefully you made your pill up correctly. When you miss a pill, you should take it as soon as you remember and then take your next pill at the regular time. If you don’t realize that you’ve skipped a pill until you’re ready to take your next one, take both pills at that time. Be sure to take the rest of your pills on time.
If you miss your next period, take a pregnancy test. If it is negative, repeat the test every two weeks until you either have a normal period or a positive test result. Do not stop taking your pills unless you test positive for pregnancy.
