It is normal to have some irregular bleeding and spotting after receiving the Depo Provera injection. This does get better as the therapy goes on. After each injection, you should notice an improvement in the amount and frequency of your bleeding. After 3 injections, most women have little to no bleeding.
You are still protected from pregnancy. Hang in there and it should get better!
