Anytime you have unprotected intercourse, there is the chance of pregnancy.

Some women may occasionally have some pinkish or red discharge after intercourse. This does not necessarily mean that pregnancy has occurred.

If spotting or bleeding occurs frequently after intercourse, it can be a signal of a problem, like a vaginal infection. If this occurs, make an appointment with your doctor or clinic for a vaginal infection check and/or pap test. You may want to discuss beginning a long term birth control method like the birth control pills or the DepoProvera injection.
