I have been on Levora for about two weeks. My boyfriend came inside me last night and it says that the first seven days are the most important. The second week, I wasn’t as consistent in taking the pill. Should I get plan B?

If you were not consistent with your pills during the second week of your pill pack, Plan B would be a good option. All though the first 7 days of the pill pack are considered the “most” important, it is very important to take all of your pills correctly and consistently. Frequently missing or being late with pills will decrease the effectiveness of your birth control, and may result in pregnancy.

If you do take Plan B, continue to take your Levora daily. You may have some irregular bleeding or spotting throughout this pill cycle. Your next period may be earlier or later than usual. It may be lighter, heavier or spottier than normal. If your next period is more than 1 week late, do a pregnancy test.
