I am on birth control on my 4th month, 2nd week. I had unprotected sex last week and a couple of days ago, and today I spotted a little. Is this a sign of pregnancy, even though I am on the pill?

If you have been taking your birth control pills correctly & consistently for the past 4 months, it is very unlikely that you will become pregnant. So, even if your partner did not use a condom, you are protected by the pills.

However, being persistently late with or missing pills will decrease their effectiveness. Additionally, if you have multiple partners, birth control pills do not provide any protection from sexually transmitted infections.
