Anytime you have unprotected sex, whether from condom failure or lack of use, there is the risk of pregnancy. At this point, wait for your next period. if it if more than 1 week late, do a pregnancy test.
If this would happen in the future, you could take the emergency contraceptive pill (ECPs). ECPs are available over the counter for purchase by women ages 17 and older at most pharmacies. Women under age 17 are required to have a prescription. ECPs (Plan B, Plan B OneStep, etc) ,when taken within 24 to 72 hours after unprotected intercourse, are about 75 to 80% effective at preventing pregnancy. The pills help prevent pregnancy by delaying ovulation. (ECPs are not a long term method of birth control and are not effective for repeated acts of intercourse.)
