If you were on birth control for a month and you got your period 4 days after sex, would you be pregnant from that sexual act?

Pregnancy is unlikely if you had your period after the sexual intercourse. Also, if you had been using hormonal birth control for a week or more when the intercourse occurred, your birth control would have protected you from pregnancy. Since you just started hormonal birth control, your periods may be different. They may be lighter and shorter than they used to be. Keep taking your birth control as directed. If you miss your next period, take a pregnancy test.
