If you have been using the patch exactly as directed and you have been using condoms as well, pregnancy is highly unlikely. It is possible that you may not have developed enough of a lining to shed this month. However, missing a period is troublesome and a pregnancy test may ease your mind. Continue to use your patches as directed. Do not stop using your birth control unless you have a positive pregnancy test.
Any over-the-counter pregnancy test is fine to use. Just be sure to follow the instructions carefully. Use first morning urine for the best results. Most pregnancy tests will not be able to detect a pregnancy until you are a week or more late for your period. Good luck!
