Anytime you have unprotected intercourse, there is the risk of pregnancy. If your partner had a normal period in February, then she most likely was not pregnant. However, the only way to know is to have her do a pregnancy test.
If you are not planning a pregnancy and continue to be sexually active, continue to us condoms. Your partner may want to consider starting a long term birth control method like the pills or DepoProvera injection. If you and your partner need reproductive care, Family Planning clinics are available. In Pennsylvania, minors do not need parental consent for reproductive health care services.
Family Planning Plus clinics offer gynecological exams, birth control, pregnancy testing and emergency contraception for little to no cost, depending on your household size and income. Clients 17 and under receive free services. STD screenings are free for men and women of all ages. Please feel free to schedule an appointment at any of our clinic locations.
