My periods are always on time, every 28th day, and I’m not sure when I ovulate. They say you ovulate on the 14th day. I had sex on Sunday morning at about 2:30 a.m., he cummed inside the condom, but when he pulled it out, he realized the condom had broke. I took Next Choice Monday morning at 8:30 a.m. and found the clear, egg white substance in my panties. Does this mean I ovulated, or is this just the Next Choice working? I am supposed to start my period in 11 days, and plan on taking a pregnancy test in 5 days. What are the chances of me being pregnant?

Plan B contains the hormone, progesterone. One of the ways it helps prevent pregnancy is by delaying ovulation. When taken within 24 to 72 hours after unprotected intercourse, Plan B is about 80% effective at preventing pregnancy. Because it delays ovulation, you may notice that your “fertile” discharge is occurring later in your cycle.

After taking Plan B, you may experience some irregular spotting or bleeding. Your next period may be earlier or later than normal. It may be lighter, heavier or spottier than usual. You should have a period within 3 weeks after taking Plan B.

For best results, wait until your next period is 1 week late before doing a pregnancy test.
