Yes, just keep in mind that you may experience some irregular bleeding or spotting during your first pill pack. Your period may come earlier..it may begin during the last week of your active pills and may last through your placebo (sugar) pills. You may have two periods this first month. Continue taking your birth control pills correctly and consistently. It can take up to 3 months for your body to become adjusted to being on the pill.

If you would have no bleeding at all during the first month and no bleeding during your inactive (sugar) pills, do a pregnancy test.
