I’ve been on implanon for 2 1/2 yrs and I’ve only gotten my period twice. I know that it’s normal for some people to not get their periods while on implanon, but 3 weeks ago the broke during sex but we didn’t realize. I didnt take plan B because I know the risk of pregnancy on implanon is .1%. Maybe it’s just stress or an active imagination but I feel like there’s a lot of pregnancy symptoms such as tender breasts, emotional, fatigue, slight nausea. Shoulda it even possible to get pregnant if your body doesn’t go through the ovulation process needed to had a period?

If you don’t ovulate, you can’t become pregnant. The main way that Implanon prevents pregnancy is by suppressing ovulation. Unfortunately, it is not 100% effective. While it is rare, some women have become pregnant while using Implanon. If you are concerned about pregnancy, take a pregnancy test. Again, pregnancy is highly unlikely in your case, but a negative result will provide you with some peace of mind.
