Anytime you have unprotected intercourse, there is the risk of pregnancy.
If you had intercourse on January 7th, but then had a normal period on January 11th, it seems unlikely that you would be pregnant. Your first pregnancy test was negative. Wait another week and repeat the pregnancy test.
Many factors can affect your menstrual cycle. Things like stress, illness, medications, lack of sleep and hormone fluctuations can alter your period. Your period may be early, late, or sometimes, not at all. Bleeding may be lighter or heavier than usual.
If you’ve had 2 (or more) negative pregnancy tests, then wait until next month. In the meantime, do not have unprotected intercourse, especially if you are not planning a pregnancy. Abstain from sex or use a condom for each act of intercourse. If your cycle is still missing in action next month, consult with your doctor or gynecologist.
